A gondola will take you in a short time and with a great view over the city of Bressanone up to 2,000 m, where you will find many walking routes. On the Apple Plateau of Naz/Sciaves, the new Apple Queen will be crowned during the Apple Festival, and the plentiful harvest is celebrated. In Bressanone, the Sunnseitn Apple Weeks take place, and at the end of October the Chestnut Weeks start. Starting from September, in the mountain villages it’s time for the cattle drive. The festively decorated cows are driven down from the lush meadows on the mountain pastures and return to the winter quarters.
